Item arrived quickly and was packaged well. Since I bought this item as a Christmas gift for my grandson I cannot make any further comments on the actual product. My daughter picked it out and thought it would make a great gift. I would not hesitate to order again.

It's hard to find things that boys would like to make- this was a winner. Quality presentation and materials. Highly recommend.
I wish I had a small drill bit to make starter holes for the nails because it was hard for him to pound the nails in. The other sets he has built used screws and pre drilled holes which he can do almost independently. Watch how you attach the angled piece to make sure it is on the side where the sliding piece exposes the hole where the candy falls out. We used M & Ms and they fly out in many directions but it’s still a great project

The project would have been better for beginners if it had marks or small indentations where to hammer nails. Without them some of me Girl Scouts ended up trying to hammer in nails on top of nails in the lower levels. Otherwise, it was a great project for them that they can take home and use over and over again!

My 7 year old and I had fun making this. For their age I would pre drill the holes for the nails otherwise the nails get pretty bent up and the child frustrated.

This product was one of the favorite gifts received this Christmas! But.. the wood was a really hard wood and the nails weren’t strong enough to penetrate the hard wood so they kept bending which was quite frustrating for my grandson. I hope the company will rectify that problem because other than that it is such a great idea and finished product
